Charming, early 19th Century French trumeau mirror. The original original reverse painting depicts Cupid and Adonis by a sleeping Venus.
It has a wonderfully foxed mirror. Some minor losses to the upper painting edge that does not detract.
The giltwood and painted frame has lovely wear and patination .
