Item Description
A striking Art Deco period bronze lantern of good size.
It has a wonderful naturally aged verdigris patina which will only get better and better as the years go on if it remains outside.
The clear glass is a later replacement. It has also just been re-wired for UK use.
In overall very good original condition, with lovely detail and design; I especially like the floral decor to each corner on the top, which is a take on the fleur de lis design presumably. Access is from below for changing and cleaning.
Height given of 64cm is to top of the ring x 25cm diameter. Chain length is approx 64cm long. Ceiling rose 13cm diameter.
