All prices exclude delivery. Please appreciate that carriers can rarely deliver within a few days, unless the client is willing to pay for such services. Some items may take a few weeks, so when requesting details of delivery, please make clear if there is any urgency.
Some items can be sent via companies such as My Hermes, DHL, UPS or Parcelforce. These services will only accept certain items and sizes, but where an item can be safely and cheaply sent, then it will be.
Packing is also additional for items that are delicate or require specialist packing materials or boxes. Such as glass or fragile items. Having your items sent in the proper, safe and secure manner, is just as important as the item itself. Why pay good money for a piece, just to expect to pay little for it's safe delivery.
If you wish to return an item, you must inform A&D by email or text within 24 hours of receipt. A&D must receive the item back within 14 days following your notification and it must be returned in the original state and condition it was sent to you in. If it is not, then you will be contacted with details of any issues and what deduction may be made. If you are unable to use the original packing to safely wrap/pack the item, then you must ensure that sufficient materials are used for it's safe return. If arranging your own collection, then you or your carrier must confirm when delivery has been made or it will be assumed it has been done so within 24 hours of leaving our possession.
Upon receipt of items returned within the agreed period, a full refund will be made (excluding carriage costs to deliver & return) before the end of a thirty day period from receipt of the goods, provided the goods arrive back in good re-saleable condition with no repairs being required.
Trade discounts are provided at our discretion.
Payment can be made by card or bank transfer. To pay by card please click on the PURCHASE SECURELY tab on this website. Your payment will be processed via Arcartpay who work in conjunction with Stripe, the card processing company. This is an extremely secure way to make payment. If you would like to make a bank transfer, please contact us for our bank details. Once full payment is received, items will be despatched. All items remain the property of A&D until full payment is made and completed.
Any bank charges or fees incurred by the client in connection with making any payment to A&D are the clients own and should not be charged to A&D. Any refunds to clients incurring such costs, will be borne by the client.
Prices shown on the Decorative Collective website are in British pounds. As exchange rates fluctuate daily, any prices shown in Dollars or Euros are for indication purposes only. When making a payment you should check with your Bank or credit card company first what the actual amount is that you will pay if you are from outside the UK.
All items are sold in good faith, with descriptions and condition being represented as honestly as possible. Given the nature of antique and 20th century pieces having been enjoyed and used for varying amounts of time and in different conditions, each may have wear and tear commensurate with age, as would be expected. If you are unsure of the true colour or patination of an item, then please ask for further details or pictures.
Clients are welcome to collect items in person from West Sussex by prior arrangement.
