Item Description

A rather fabulous vintage Fat Lava West German pottery lamp, believed to be c1960s. Shown with typical tall lampshade of the type and period that was popular with these lamps, but cannot confirm if original to the base. These lamps were often called floor lamps, with the tall shades making them appear very large and imposing, but they work perfectly well as table lamps and make real statement pieces. Dimensions are 130cm tall to top of shade. Approx 32cm wide x 26cm deep x 53cm to top of bulb holder. Long flex.

This particular lamp is very large and has a mottled brown outer glaze with a burst of bright orange colour to the central area with see through hole decoration. A stylish, unusual and imposing lamp, that is in excellent condition and has been re-wired for UK use.
