Antique Chesterfield Sofa New Liberty Upholstery C1880

Back from our upholsterer, we have an English antique Chesterfield sofa C1880 which has enjoyed a full refurbishment and finished in a high quality, heavy woven cotton and linen blend Liberty upholstery fabric in shades of cream and greens with a rich texture. We just love the look of this one so much that we asked our upholsterer to finish a chair for our barn in the same fabric! It's a blend of slightly cool, slightly eccentric, slightly bohemian and rather smart.

The Chesterfield possesses a great look with a good rake and stance. Our upholsterer has fully refurbished the piece with the tightening of springs, tightening of the heavy frame where required, new webbing and new finish in lovely thick Liberty fabric. The sofa sits on brass and ceramic castors and the short legs are nicely aged.

When purchasing from us we include delivery in the purchase price which is based on a one person delivery for England and Wales. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isles and for World-wide shipping.

For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
