A very handsome 1920s desk from quality maker Waring & Gillow with the maker's mark to the top centre drawer and also badged within the drawer for good measure.
Loving the look and quality of this one. It's rather grand on a smallish scale with all 4 of the cabriole legs with ornate figuring to their tops and well shaped and sized ball and claw feet. The drawers possess the original solid brass handles and we have a working lock and key if you have secrets to hide... The top is again decoratively edged with the original deep tobacco coloured leather inset sitting proudly to the top.
Condition is highly original and good with wear in the right places to the leather top and age marks, scratches and bumps to the rest of the piece. The drawers are running smoothly and the desk is ready to place if you desire that original toned look.

When purchasing from us we include delivery in the purchase price which is based on a one person delivery for England and Wales. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, The Isles and for World-wide shipping.

For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
