Item Description
Elegant bow fronted Louis XVI style giltwood and marble top console table c.1910. Original highly figured inch-thick marble top with a moulded edge. On a carved giltwood base with original gilded finish. Carved frieze and laurel leaf swags with a ribbon bow at the centre. Raised on tapering turned and fluted legs joined with shaped and moulded stretchers with a Classical urn and more laurel leaf swags at the centre. Minor wear to the gilding, otherwise excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
