Item Description
Early 19th.c. mahogany linen press c.1810. Two door cupboard top fitted with five mahogany lined sliding shelves (internal depth 20"). Over a chest of two short and two long drawers of graduated height. Crisp moulded cornice over rectangular panelled doors with symmetrically arranged flame mahogany veneers (on solid mahogany groundwork) featuring fine inlaid stringing, crossbanded borders and a brass trim. Mahogany veneered drawer fronts with matching inlaid detail, cockbeaded edges and period brass handles. Shaped and crossbanded apron and front feet. Solid mahogany sides to both sections, shaped at the bottom edge. Repairs around the hinges on the right hand side of the top. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
Separates into two pieces for delivery.
