Item Description
Unusual pair of Queen Anne style oak highback armchairs with tapestry covers c.1920. Tall backrests with shaped cresting rails topped with carved detail. Shapely outswept arms with moulded edges and scroll carved terminals. Over webbed seats (height 19") raised on cabriole front legs with a simple ball and claw foot and turned rear legs joined with turned H stretchers. Upholstered in an attractive and colourful woven floral tapestry fabric with the pattern matched across the two chairs and continued on the rear. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
