Item Description
19th century Gothic Revival oak hall console table. English. Circa 1880.
Delivery is INCLUDED in the price for all areas in MAINLAND England & Wales.
The table has a demilune top with a central scrolled and hand carved support depicting floral roundels.
Made in solid oak, and with the original finish which has been cleaned and waxed polished. There are some light indentations and signs of use, mainly to the top.
The photographs shows a small cut-out to the back of the top, probably for a wire. There are two original screw holes to the underside frame. The two in the central upright are later.
Note the large moulded cut-out for the skirting, this was probably designed for the original house it resided in.
The table is sturdy in structure with no woodworm or damage.
