Item Description

Art Nouveau ebonised bentwood bench. No 96. Circa 1900.

There is no maker's mark, but almost certainly made by Thonet or J&J Kohn in Vienna, Austria.

The bench is in good original condition. The seat is intact showing minimal wear in places for its age. Slightly sagged from use. The ebonised finish has some scuff marks and loss of finish in places. Please refer to the photographs. The bench is stable with no loose joints.

The seat height is 46.5cm.
