Item Description

Mid century Børge Mogensen teak and beech sideboard for Soborg Mobler. Model 160. 1958.

The sideboard has been very well looked after and retains its original finish, which is in very good condition.

It has two sliding doors and stands on contrasting beechwood leg frame with teak feet caps. The interior is lined in beechwood with two shelves which are fully adjustable. The other side has four neat drawers which can be moved to different settings. The drawer bases are in birch. The drawers all work very smoothly. The interior is also very clean, there is a small mark to the interior base on the shelving side to note. The sliding doors also work very smoothly. There are some light signs of use around the sideboard, and a slight water mark to the top at the back left. Please also see photograph of the original receipt (now missing), showing the sideboard's purchase in 1958.
