Item Description
This cushion is made from an exquisite hand embroidered panel. The embroidery has been done in silk on linen and is beautifully executed. I'm not sure where it originates from, but it may be English and dates to the first half of C20. I love the colour palette, particularly the blue flowers. I've backed the cushion in an antique linen and added hand made tassels. There is a zip fastener and feather pad.
It's a rare and beautiful textile to be treasured on a special chair rather than sat on everyday..
