Item Description
These cushions are made from a vintage handloomed textile from East China. The textiles were handwoven on narrow looms and then screen printed. It has lots of texture and shouldn't be confused with later mass-produced Chinese textile. After weaving these textiles were taken to the local dyers and the family would pick out the pattern they wanted. The dyers would produce then screen print it. The colours are so vibrant and pretty. I've backed the cushions with another handwoven vintage textile. This is a gorgeous blue, brown and off-white stripe which looks wonderful with the front. There are zip fasteners and feather pads.
