Item Description
These 2 cushions are made from a vintage Yao minority wedding blanket, in white and bright blue indigo cotton. I've used the inside of the blanket for the cushion face as this shows the pattern of the weave more clearly. The looms are very narrow, typically 12" or 13"I wide so I've pieced two sides of the blanket together to make a larger cushion. I've backed the cushions with a vintage indigo handwoven Songjang textile from Shanghai. There are zip fasteners and feather pads. They're very pretty
