Item Description
These cushions are made from a vintage hand loomed Zhuang wedding blanket that dates to the middle of the C20. The Zhuang are a Chinese minority group living in the mountainous regions of SW China. The wedding blanket is woven in cotton and silk. The pattern comprises the 8 point star auspicious symbol in indigo cotton around a pink silk diamond. I've added pink handmade tassels and backed the cushions with a vintage indigo stripe from East China. I think they are really special.
