Item Description
The proportions of this pretty chaise longue are unusually small and quite unique. A regular chaise in miniature! The back has a graceful recline to one end with the top show wood rail gently curling under to the other. The seat is supported by four outward swept legs capped with quality brass ferrules together with the original castors. The mahogany show wood frame has at some point in time been over painted cream and does have a little wear but this only adds to its charm. The old worn fabric has been carefully removed together with all the upholstery tacks leaving it clean and tidy ready for easier upholstery.
Perfect for a little two seater or even the end of the bed! English 19th century painted chaise longue for reupholstery. Seat 40 cm high with upholsterers label.
