Item Description
An elegant 19th century French fruitwood dining table. The superior scale to this fabulous dining table spans an impressive 2.47 metres long x 95cm wide and will comfortably accommodate ten dinner guests. The table top rests firmly upon a pretty scalloped apron and is formed from 4cm thick beautifully seasoned pale cherrywood timbers. The ends are gently rounded in the D end style adding a softer appearance to a table of such grand proportions. Raised upon four solid cherrywood cabriole legs. The construction of the table is such that the top may be separated from the base allowing easier transport due to the weight and density of the solid timbers. Recently cleaned, wax polished and checked to ensure no wobbles or weaknesses ready for perfect entertaining. A formal dining room table with a relaxed feel.
