Item Description
ANTIQUE BATH TAPS
A simple and timeless design made from heavy gauge brass, they are good quality and built to last.
Original porcelain inserts indicating ‘Hot’ and ‘Cold’.
Made by James Barwell Ltd. of Great Hampton Street, Birmingham under the trademark ‘Fiddian’. Fully stamped on the back.
They probably date to the early 20th century period. This tap design can be seen in a James Barwell advertisements from the early 20th century, circa 1900-1920s.
Original threaded feed pipes with the original nuts. We have left the original lead washers in place but are easily removed.
They are in good vintage condition, we have left them in their original patina but they could be polished up to a high shine finish if so desired.
