Item Description
Original Antique Oil on Canvas Painting
Unsure who the sitter was but I’m thinking possibly politicians wife, regular churchgoer and complete and utter dark horse behind closed doors.
Painted in an informal 1920s-1940s art deco style.
Framed in later but complimentary gilt frame.
There is some minor wear and tear here and there consummate with age but nothing too serious. The varnish has aged a bit over time, again not too serious.
Overall measurements 57 x 45cm.
