Vintage Original Oil on Canvas Laid to Board Painting
Depicting a dramatic moorland scene on a moody day with almost alien-like gnarled pollarded trees bare of leaves from winter dominating the setting with spongy orange mossy ground and a stream cutting through the middle.
Expertly painted in a fairly realist manner which captures the feeling on the moor that day extremely well.
Signed to the lower right 'K. Drögsler'.
Probably dating from the mid-20th Century period, circa 1930s-1960s in date.
In its original simple gilt frame.
The painting itself is in excellent vintage condition with minimal wear commensurate with age. The frame is also in good vintage order.
Approximate overall measurements 49cm x 39cm x 2cm.
