Item Description
This pair of 18th-century French faience bough pots from Moustiers showcases exquisite floral patterns in a vibrant camaïeu of oranges, characteristic of the style of Moustiers. Each pot features an elegant urn shape, complete with a pedestal and fluted edges, adorned with two creature’s heads on either side. The tops are beautifully decorated with additional florals and butterflies, featuring 21 holes to display fresh flowers. These rare bough pots combine a vibrant decor with a refined shape and their flat backs make them ideal for displaying against a wall, on either side of a mantelpiece or console table.
