Early 19th century Hand Carved Santos Figure

A detailed hand-crafted early 19th Century articulated female Santo’s figure in original and untouched condition. This item has been re-painted over the years due to wear and tear however its structure and form have always stayed the same. Would once have been clothed stood in a church or religious setting of sorts.

This antique object is completely solid in structure and form, firmly in place but shows natural aging across all surfaces, light darkened stain to the pine wood as shown. The arms move as created however are loose at the top pose as shown, with some fingers missing as you can see. It’s stood the test of time and in very presentable condition for its age.
