Early-20^th Century French Pull along papier Mache figure

A very quirky hand-crafted example of an early-20^th Century papier Mache French pull along figure. Securely stood on a pine base with metal wheels. The huntsman figure with gun in hand has a purpose build open hunting bag, that items might have been stored in by a child. With the freakiest facial expression, this item is now more a display object rather than a functional one.

Condition Report

1.       Worn surface area with fade papier Mache.

2.       Surface cracks to the papier Mache as its dried over the years.

3.       Worn painted detail.

4.       The metal wheel as wobbly and missing sections as the side profile shows.

This item is untouched in form, it is firmly in place and secure to display only.
