Item Description

Pair of Mid-20th Century Teaching Aid Plaster Heart Forms

They say two hearts are better than one, In this case that’s true. Dated from the mid-20th Century, hand painted detail on plaster with cotton thread internal tissue detail. These examples would have once been used in medical schools to demonstrate the workings of the human heart in theory.

Size in inches: H 5” x W 4” x D 3”
Origin: EU
Date: 1940 - 1950
Item Condition: Good

A natural worn surface covers these objects, with worn painted detail and light surface chips and faded detail. They are solid in form and luckily stood the test of time considering their plaster material is fragile. The 2 section hearts fit together firmly and can be displayed so as shown. They are over 50 to 70 years old so please expect this to reflect in the items overall condition.

We strongly suggest reviewing all the photos provided as part of this advert and propose questions where sections are unclear to avoid disappointment upon purchase.
