Item Description
This is a stunning pair of extremely rare antique sacred hearts that originate from the Southern part of Germany, late 18th century. The flaming harts made of brass are adorned with a crown of thorns and a garland of roses, representing Christ and Mary. Once they were most certainly embellishments of a large religious tableau. Each one measures about 21 x 15.5 x 2.5 cm or approximately 8.2 x 6.1 x 1 inches and they are in great antique condition with minor signs of ageing which is expected with items of such age. They are exactly as I discovered them with another pair [which is already sold]. For the full condition please refer to the images!
