This is an absolutely marvellous and extremely rare set of four large antique Spanish vellum books that date from the end of the 18th century. Printed in 1792 - MDCCXCII - in Valencia these exceptional books are bound in vellum with fine hand written titles/content in ink on their spines. They contain stories from the Bible such as Psalms, the Book of Numbers, Prophecies etc. These are highly decorative and collectable treasures that are exquisite addition to any stylish and unique interior. Displayed on their own or even as a base for other decorative items they bring a captivating atmosphere and intrigue. The books are in lovely antique condition considering their age with some signs of ageing that in my opinion only brings forth their true beauty and splendour today.
