Item Description
A large scale late Georgian period register fire grate. Constructed in steel, it is beautifully cast throughout with brass acanthus perimeter moulding. This is a superb fire insert for the chimneypiece of a traditional Georgian property or period townhouse.
CONDITION REPORT
Good structural condition. The back-plate has been renewed. The finish has tarnished with age, this could be polished back to a bright finish.
