Item Description
A late Victorian Gothic Revival oak and ebonised armchair.
The arched back and shaped sides with pierced tracery decoration.
Good, solid condition but is lacking some of the applied small wood decoration to the sides as can be seen in the pictures, but doesn't detract. These can be restored at additional cost, but rather like the original time worn look of the chair as is.
The ebonised highlighting around the tracery is a particularly nice feature and this would make a good hallway or bedroom chair.
