Item Description

This limited edition print (and another being sold separately from the same year and shown in the final photo) is amongst German artist Tomasz Paczewiski earliest works.

Paczewski, born in Warsaw, Poland in 1961, is a perceptive German artist with international exhibition credentials dating back to the 1990s. Working mostly with painting and prints, he explores the dual phenomenon of the anonymity of both the individual and the masses.

This print is entitled 'Sieć II' - I believe this may relate to any of the following terms - connected, web or network. It is signed and dated 1988 and is edition 3/10.

What I particularly like about this work, is how every figure is individual, and as you look more and more at the piece, you discover many other faces and bodies you don't initially see. A very interesting and intriguing artwork.

The winner of many awards and scholarships, Paczewski has exhibited extensively from 1988 to the present day, mainly in Germany and Poland.

This and the other print I have by him are both framed, behind glass and are in very good condition and both of large size at approx 107cm h x 76cm w.
