Item Description
An Interesting Pair of 19th Century Italian Walnut Commodes in the Rococo Taste.
Standing on lovely cabriole legs with hoof feet, these two commodes have deep mouldings on the apron in the rococo manner and of serpentine shape. The tops are also slightly serpentine in outline. Each commode has a pair of drawers which are outlined with decorative parquetry, a scheme which is also used on the sides and on the tops.
