Item Description
Early 20th Century Scratch Built Boat Model
The Pilote Niviere is a French working vessel which sailed from the early part of the 20th century to the 1980s. This model is made from found items, constructed from a brass and wood. The painted brass hull is well formed as is the deck sections. Mounted onto a bespoke pine base with brass name plaque. Of good proportions and very well executed detail in our humble opinion.
Size: H 15” x W 23” x D 5”
Completely solid in structure and form, with natural wear and patination across all surfaces due to age and use. Flaking paint, this item shows aged repairs including, the wood has naturally aged with light loss in sections.
